Today was a GOOD day! HS orientation: club gallery walk, tech session, donuts from the Booster Club, required trainings and more! We are so thankful for Javier Plummer and Liz Stainback and Dr. Seaman and health department professionals for coming and spending their morning with us. We learned about staying safe and healthy.....saying NO to substances that will harm our bodies! We are looking forward to a great year! WE are strong together. WE are the KNIGHTS!

Infinite Campus is our new student information system and ALL parents need an account. We sent an email Friday with directions for creating your account. Some of you did not get the message so we worked to fix accounts and just resent the email. If you are still not receiving our emails, clear out your account because your inbox may be too full to receive emails and/or check your spam. If you still don't see the email, please contact us at school! Thank you for your help! The required back to school forms must be completed right away!

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the Henderson Optimist Club proudly recognized its 2025 scholarship recipients during the club’s annual meeting at the Henderson Country Club. Katherine Suther and Ethan Linge were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship and shared their college plans with members in attendance. Both recipients will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall. Katherine and Ethan were accompanied by their parents, who joined in celebrating their accomplishments. A photo was taken of the recipients and their parents, along with Charles Hearn, Club President; Joan Robinson, Internal Vice President; and Dave Jennings, Scholarship Committee Chair and Lieutenant Governor. The Henderson Optimist Club has been supporting local students through its scholarship program for over 50 years.
