The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory beginning at 6pm tonight lasting through 10am tomorrow morning. Due to the potential inclement weather arriving this evening Vance Charter will operate on a 2-Hour Delay, Thursday February 5th, 2026. If conditions warrant a change in this schedule, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Vance Charter School will operate on a 2 hour delay for Thursday, January 29th. Please be safe commuting to campus. We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow.
After assessing the campus this morning we have several areas of black ice causing problems for pedestrians to navigate safely. Maintenance is currently on site working to improve these areas. Having said that, campus will not be ready for in person instruction today. Therefore, Vance Charter will be on a Remote Learning schedule Wednesday, January 28th 2026.

Due to the continued impact of the winter storm, Vance Charter School plans to operate on a 2 hour delay on Wednesday, January 28th. K-8 will begin at 10am and high school will begin at 10:30am. If any additional changes need to be made regarding our schedule, we will notify families by 8am.
Please don't forget to place your lunch order and if we need to cancel school, you will not be charged for the lunch. If you do not hear back from us by 8am, we will see our students on campus for a 2 hour delay. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the safety of our Vance Charter family.
