Our HS Spanish classes invited our K-8 students over to learn about a traditional holiday-- Dia de los Muertos! Our students created an Ofrenda to joyfully celebrate a loved one.
Hispanic Heritage Month was a wonderful time of learning about culture through dress, music, dancing, and artwork! Today our International Club and Spanish Club turned the Vance Charter hallways into a magical trip to many countries! The parade was beautiful and so much fun! We are so proud of our teachers and students! (All pictures posted on next post)

A wonderful event tonight at Sadie's Coffee Shop put on by Kernel Craze Gourmet Popcorn! Beautiful artwork was on display featuring many of our Vance Charter artists! 1st Place: Charley Robinson 2nd Place: John Tran We are so proud of our artists! Kernel Craze will feature the winning artwork on the popcorn tins! Go out and support this business that is supporting our youth and our community!

Chef Kyle Wilkerson welcomed our OCS students to VGCC’s culinary arts program today. We had an amazing time cooking with the VGCC culinary students. Students prepared Pumpkin Coconut Curry Soup, along with a Pumpkin Mug Cake. Thank you, Chef Kyle, for having us today! We enjoyed it! 🎃🥣🥮

GOLD was the color for today! VCS stands behind all Knights and all children all over the world that have bravely fought cancer! We hope to bring awareness and show support for everyone that has been impacted by childhood cancer.
