Ways to Support VCS
Volunteer Your Time!
Volunteering is a vital component of the support VCS initiative.
Parental involvement is necessary in a child’s education and provides benefits to both Vance Charter School and Vance Charter families.
Why Volunteer?
The positive parental support found at Vance Charter makes an immense difference in both the student’s and school’s success. Volunteering helps the school with much needed support and helps family members stay in touch and involved with teachers and in their children’s education.
Seven and half hours per quarter(15 per semester, 30 per year) are expected per family. The goal is for parents/family members to do their volunteering incrementally, as each quarter occurs, versus doing them all at once at the end of the year.
How Can I Volunteer?

In addition to volunteering, there are many other ways to support Vance Charter.
