Class of 2022 Information

September 21 - Service Academy Day - hosted by Senator Thom Tillis.  This event will equip students, and families with essential information about the United States Service Academies, their admission standards, and the nomination process.  Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with representatives from each service academy.  No RSVP is needed.  The event will be held at the NC National Guard Joint Force Headquarters in Raleigh at 1636 Gold Star Dr in Raleigh from 10:30 to 1:00.  Doors will open at 9:45.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Hicks, or you many contact the office of Senator Thom Tillis at 919-856-4630. 


PRUDENTIAL SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY AWARDS

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards were created in 1995 to recognize students in middle and high school grades (5 - 12) who have demonstrated exemplary community service.  These prestigious awards sponsored by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, are presented annually on the local, state, and national level. To be considered for the award, you must complete the application found at spirit.prudential.com or nassp.org/spirit by Nov. 1 and submit the application to Ms. Hicks.  If you are selected to be a state honoree, you will be eligible for a $1,000 scholarship along with an all-expense-paid trip with a parent or guardian to Washington, DC for four days.
