Online Library - Raz-Kids.com
FOVC has been kind enough to pay for subscriptions for Vance Charter School students in grades K-3 to Raz-Kids.com.
Raz-Kids.com is an online library of exciting reading materials to be used for extra reading practice. The online library is updated with new books every six weeks. Raz-Kids helps students improve their reading skills as they listen to a book read for modeled fluency. Then, if the computer has a built-in record function, they can record themselves reading the same book. Or, students can read the book to themselves or aloud for practice. Interactive quizzes are available at the end of each book to check for understanding. Students are able to read books below or above the their reading level.
Remember, the more your child reads, the better reader he or she will become!
