Why Volunteer
Parental involvement is necessary in a child's education.
The positive parental support found at Vance Charter makes an immense difference in both the student's and school's success. Volunteering helps the school with much needed support and helps family members stay in touch and involved with teachers and in their children's education.
Seven and half hours per quarter(15 per semester, 30 per year) are expected per family. The goal is for parents/family members to do their volunteering incrementally, as each quarter occurs, versus doing them all at once at the end of the year.
