Capital Campaign
It is time for us to build a new school!
Students at Vance Charter School come together every day.
Today, we
need our parents and community to come together to help us build a new
school that our children desperately need and deserve.
Unlike other public schools, charter schools often have to overcome enormous financial challenges. Charter schools are held entirely responsible for their academic and managerial performance. We do not receive any facilities funding from the state.
With that in mind, we need everyone's help to make a new school a reality.
Our Achievements:- North Carolina Honor School of Excellence 2003-04: 93.5% of all students at or above grade level.
- North Carolina Honor School of Excellence 2004-05: 93.6% of all students at or above grade level.
- North Carolina School of Distinction 2005-06
- North Carolina School of Distinction 2006-07
- Accredited by AdvancED (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) First Charter school in North Carolina and the only public elementary/middles school in Vance County to be AdvancED (SACS) accredited.
Just imagine what type of performance we could have with a new school.
